IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Melodi Rose
Brandon Zimmerman-Case
September 15, 1983 – December 14, 2025
Melodi Rose Brandon Zimmerman-Case, age 42, of Shreveport, Louisiana, went into the loving embrace of her Lord Jesus Christ on December 14, 2025. Melodi had a passion for music, and the milestones of her life are memorialized through the songs she composed, collected, shared, and cherished. In addition to music, she loved amusement parks, her pets, celebrations, photography, sunflowers, and especially her family.
She had a desire to help those that were struggling with addiction, depression, and other mental health issues, and obtained her Master's Degree in Psychology with the intent of providing support and counseling to others that were hurting. Sadly, the years of struggling through her own pain and challenges became overwhelming. She is no longer struggling; she is finally free.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Zimmerman, and survived by her husband, Dustin Case; children, Caleb Brandon, Chloe Anderson, Connor Anderson, and Scarlett Zimmerman; parents, August (Joe) and Kathy Brandon; grandmother Anna Thompson; sister Lindsi Simo and husband Scotty; nieces Asia Simo and Sienna Simo, and nephew Scotty Simo.
A celebration of her life will be held at Auld's Funeral Home, 7849 E. Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115, on Saturday, January 10th, at 2:00. The family will receive visitors beginning at 1:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Louisiana Chapter of the American Federation for Suicide Prevention at https://supporting.afsp.org/campaigns/Melodi-Rose-Zimmerman-Case-Memorial-Fund .
