Melissa Anne Reeves, age 39, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at a local hospital. She was born December 6, 1977, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jimmie Reeves and Charlee Reeves. Melissa fought a courageous battle against cancer for seven years. Not only was she angel on earth, but is now an angel in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Jim Reeves, maternal grandfather Dick Browning, and her aunt Linda Reeves Ryan.

She is survived by a son Cross Garrett Reeves, daughter Stevie Anne Baillio; father Jimmie and wife LaJuana Reeves; mother Charlee Suggs Reeves; paternal grandmother Margie Reeves; maternal grandmother Cora Browning; grandparents Eddie & Robbie Johnson; sister Misty Reeves Pee and husband Kyle; nephew Nate Barnes; niece Layla Pee, and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 11am Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Columbia Park ,600 Columbia Avenue in Shreveport,LA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the South Bossier Baptist Church Youth Ministry.
