Survived by: Son Donald Myrick and wife Tonya Myrick of Tyler Texas, Son Daryl Myrick and wife Elizabeth Goodson of Princeton Louisiana, Daughter Terri Wells and husband Wes Wells of Ozark, Arkansas.
Grandchildren: Tommy Myrick and wife Malansey Myrick, Connie Kennard and husband Wes Kennard, Brandon Fontz, Brandy Moody, Anthony Myrick, Austin Myrick, Sierra Crowder, David Smith and wife Jessica Smith, Arron Smith, Kamryn Goodson.
Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: Husband Billy Joe Myrick, Son Stacey Carrol (Pete) Myrick, Mother and Father - Sam and Loise Baker, Brother Sam Baker, Sister Angie Reynolds.
Melba was a shining light; her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. Her heart to give to her family and other people was a reflected in all she did. Melba always had the spirit to help other people and she never failed to support and protect those that she loved. She was and always will be the foundation and strength of her family; the rock that continuously provided. She loved to serve the Lord at Haughton United Methodist Church until her vision failed, along with Action Charities providing meals to older folks in need. Her time working with ST JUDE was also a joyous time for her, being able to support something she loved. With Melba, you never wondered where she stood, as her children were always first place in her life.
