Our brother, Matthew David Morrow, 48, of Shreveport, Louisiana, unexpectedly passed away on October 13th, 2024.

The Memorial service to honor Matthew's life will be held at 11:15 AM on Friday, November 15th, 2024, at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, located at 7970 Mike Clark Road, Keithville, LA 71047.

Matthew was born to Alice Morrow Parker on June 28th,1976, in Memphis, Tennessee. He is the oldest of four children. He graduated from Airline High School in Bossier City, Louisiana. Matthew enlisted in the United States Navy after graduating from high school. He enjoyed reading books, listening to music, and writing raps/poems in his free time. Matthew demonstrated incredible kindness and selflessness by choosing to be an organ donor. His decision reflects a deep compassion for others, offering hope and life to those in need during difficult times.

He is survived by his sisters, Lorna Ahlstrom and husband Chris and Crystal Thomas and husband Ken; brother Dustin Parker and wife Amanda; nephews Jonathan and Brandon Ahlstrom, Cody Thomas, and Nathan Trexler; nieces Brooke Thomas and Ella Parker; aunts Patricia Lotto and Donna Potter; and many cousins, extended family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Morrow Parker; maternal grandfather, David Alfred Morrow; maternal grandmother, Mary Kathryn Smith Morrow; and Uncle, Mark Lotto.
