Mary Richie went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2026, in Shreveport, surrounded by her family and friends. 

Mary was a mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and a friend to many. Mary worked as a waitress and housekeeper and caregiver for over 30 years.

 Mary was predeceased by her parents, Ephrem and Mary Hussey and her daughter, Tia Parker Harris and husband, Douglas Richie. Mary is survived by one son, Robert Allen Mohnacky and (wife) Michelle as well as their children, Michael, Kimberly, David and wife (Caddie), Brittaney (Courtney Watts) and their daughter, Lilly Watts, Ariana, Jasper, and Jake, as well as Tia’s children, Chris, Conner and Keira.

She is also survived by her five siblings, Christine (Patricia) Beauford and husband (Stanley), Ephrem Hussey, Douglas Hussey, Sr. and nephew Douglas Wayne Hussey, Clarence Hussey, Sr. and wife (Deanne), nephew, Clarence (Jack) Hussey, Jr., nieces Katie, Megan and Jessica, Michael Hussey and wife (Gail), niece Melissa Russ and nephew Michael Russ as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.

Mary will be sadly missed by all.

A Memorial Service for Mary Richie will be held Friday, July 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Aulds Funeral Home, located at 7849 E. Kings Hwy., Shreveport, La.
