Funeral services honoring the life of Mary Nauman Murphy will be held at Open Range Cowboy Church in Greenwood, LA at 5pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, with Dennis Aaron officiating.

Mary was born on May 28, 1942, in Conrad, Montana to Willard and Edith Nauman, and passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, in Keatchie, LA, surrounded by her family.

Mary was a devoted wife, mom, and grandmother. Along with her two sons, her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Wherever Macon and Josey were you could always find Grammy following along. Mary loved her horses and barrel racing. She enjoyed going to rodeos and supporting her family in all their events.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willard and Edith Nauman; brother Bill Nauman.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 60 years, Gary Murphy; sons Marty Murphy and wife Penny, KC Murphy, and wife Julie; grandchildren Macon Murphy, Josey Murphy, Lauren Griffin, Kristina Frazier, and Trey Williams.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for the care, compassion, and love Mary Hensley has given Mary over the past 2.5 years, along with Willis Knighton Hospice Nurse Monica Bailes.
