Mary Baker Lloyd, age 86, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at a local nursing facility. She was born on May 29, 1932 to Mannin and Ora Slack Baker in Kilgore, Texas. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and loved life to the end. Mary cared deeply for her loved ones. We all will cherish her everlasting memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dave Lloyd; sisters, Billie Baker Bearden, Christine Baker Fleming, Yvonne Baker Lawson; brothers, L.R. Baker, and Daniel Baker; Grandchild, Steven Lloyd; son-in-law, George Thomas Westbrook; ex-husband Boyd Lloyd, Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Shirley Lloyd Westbrook; sons, Boyd Lloyd, Jr. and wife Patricia, Daniel Lloyd and wife Cheryl; grandchildren, Chrissy Westbrook Rinaudo, Heather Westbrook, Megan Westbrook, Amber Keith, Crayton Lloyd, Daniel Paul Lloyd, Michael Scott Lloyd; numerous great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held 2pm Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Plain Dealing, Louisiana with Bro. Roger Morton officiating. The family wishes to acknowledge and sincerely thank the staff of Aime Hospice, and granddaughter Megan for the care of Mary in her final hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to the Shriner's Hospital.
