Mary Ann Howe, age 73, formerly of Shreveport, LA passed from her physical life on August 20,2024.  After her retirement, Mary spent her remaining life spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and caring for her aging father. She also was an active volunteer at The Simple Church, The Lions Club of Shreveport, and multiple pet rescue organizations connecting animals with their forever homes.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lyda M. Devillier. Left to treasure her memory are her father, Henry L. Devillier; 2 brothers, Johnny Devillier (Sandra) and Michael Devillier; daughter, Michelle Pesnell; son, Mark Howe (Melissa); 6 grandchildren Anna Johnston (Shawn), Harlie Williams(Steven), Hope White (Nick), Ethan Howe, Lane Pesnell, and Evan Howe; and 8 great grandchildren Madeline Peters, Grant Johnston, Carter White, Oaklen Williams, Ava White, Harper Johnston, Enly Williams, and Caiden White.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Aulds Funeral Home Shreveport, LA with Justin Haigler pastor of The Simple Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Simple Church building fund, The Humane Society of NW LA, or a pet rescue of your choice.
