Mary Ruffin Hatcher was born February 3, 1940, to Kirby Hugh Ruffin, Jr. and Caroline Elizabeth Ruffin in Mansfield, Louisiana. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Jerome McCain Hatcher; sister Martha Shively; children Dean Hatcher, Kent Hatcher, Kaye Jambor McAdams, and Rachel Hatcher Dow. Last, but certainly not least, she leaves behind her faithful companion Maggie, her black standard poodle.

As a family we were fortunate and blessed to have called her wife, sister, mother, and Mimi. She will be greatly remembered…and greatly missed.

Graveside services to be held at 10am Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Forest Park East Cemetery in Shreveport.
