Mary Joan Festervan was born on January 16th, 1935 in Sallisaw Oklahoma to Floyd Arthur Patton and Mary Remy Patton.  She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 25th, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband Rodney C. Festervan, twin brother Charles Patton and baby brothers Loyd and Floyd Patton, and her beloved daughters Carla Scanes, and Debbie Cox.  Left to carry on her legacy is her daughter Marilyn Moreno and husband Johnny, and son-in-law David Cox.

She was "Granny" to grandchildren Nicole, Juan, Matt, Angie, Ben, Hollie, Jennifer, Amber, Kasey, and Sarah.  She was also "Granny" to her great grandchildren Tyler, Shawnee, Christian, Weston, Colton, Caleb, Dayton, Alyssa, Riley, Trinity, Izzy, Chloe, Lydia, Tristian, Judah, Debbie Marie, and Alana. one beautiful great-great granddaughter Azalea.

And an honorable mention to her loving puppy companion, "Lulu".

She loved her family (and "Lulu") very much and found great pleasure in caring for her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids whenever possible.  As a strong independent woman who was used to caring for others her whole life, the family would like to extend a very special thanks to those who cared for her over the past several months when she needed it the most.  To Dr. Savory, WK Hospice Nurses, and The Guest House staff, the love and care you provided will never be forgotten.
