Obituary
On Wednesday, May 10, 2017, Mary was called home to be at rest with her heavenly father. She was preceded in death by her father, Dallas Manning; one brother, Donald Ray Manning, and one sister, Gloria Jean Betts.
Sister Chatman leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of almost 46 years, Jimmie Chatman, Jr. of Bossier City, La; her mother, Ethel Lee Manning of Franklinton, La her four (4) children, Jimmie Chatman, III (Shannon) of Champaign, Il Camisha Chatman-McKnight (LaShonda) of Shreveport, La; Shayla Chatman-German (Damont) of Bossier City, La; two (2) sisters, Jeanette Manning of Slidell, La; and Casaundra Anthony of Harvey, La; two brothers, O'Connor Manning of Franklinton, La; and Donnell Manning of New Orleans, La; seven (7) grandchildren, Shomari, Joyelle, Essence, Jalen, Anissa, Saniya and Kali; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Funeral Arrangements for Mary Chatman will be Saturday May 20th at Stonewall Baptist Church, 807 Eatman St, Bossier City, LA 71111. Visitation will be from 11:30am-12:30pm. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City.
