Memorial for Mary Ann Patterson Bryan will be held on May 6th at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA.

Mrs. Bryan, 77, was born October 4, 1938 in Hickory Valley, TN and died April 30, 2016 in Shreveport, LA.  She was a native of Memphis TN were she worked diligently for Bell South Telephone Company for 43 years.  She  had dedication to her job as she received a perfect attendance award at year 35 and the only time that she missed at work was March 26th when she went to the hospital to have her youngest son, James.  Later in life she moved and was a longtime resident of Bossier City, LA.   She was born to and preceded in death by her parents, Addie Lou and Buster Patterson.

Mary Ann's passion in life were her children and grandchildren.  She loved to take long walks, gardening, and found happiness in caring for her pets.  She could find beauty in the simplest things in life.

Survivors are her sons, James David Bryan Jr. and Rick E. Free, his wife Twilla Free.  Grandchildren Savannah Taylor Bryan, Brock Bryan, Michael Free, his wife Maghen Free, and one great-grandchild Seth Bryan.

She will be deeply missed and her memory will always be cherished.
