Martin Allen Lumpkin, (Marty) was born on August 30, 1965, passed away on February 25, 2024, in Sarepta, Louisiana, United States, and died of natural causes. He is survived by his loving mother Cynthia Lumpkin, sister Beverly Lumpkin Colmer & husband Brian, Marty's son, Dylan Lumpkin and granddaughter, Everleigh Grace Lumpkin. Several nieces and nephews.

Marty had a career in tree climbing in his younger years, which he loved to do, working for several companies in the industry. He was known for his skill and passion for the work, always ensuring that each job was done efficiently and safely. (we can hope) He always liked to joke.

Outside of his professional life, Marty had a free spirit, he never met a stranger and loved everyone. He volunteered at the Shreveport Rescue Mission organization after he graduated from the program. He had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

One of Marty's favorite pastimes was playing the harmonica, being outside, most likely by a fire. He found joy and solace in music, often entertaining friends, and family. He loved his cats also.

Martin leaves behind a legacy of kindness, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
