Funeral services for Martha E. Shaw will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Bellaire Baptist Church in Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 9:00am - 10:00am with funeral services at 10:00am.

Officiating will be Pastor Randy Harper and Corey Tucker from Bellaire Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at 2:30pm at Mars Hill Church Cemetery, 1282 New Mars Hill Church Road, Atlanta, Louisiana 71404. Brother Doug James will officiate.

Martha was born on February 18, 1938 to Albert N. Walsworth and Mabre L. Walsworth in Atlanta, Louisiana. She passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at the Riverview Nursing Home in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Martha was a resident of Bossier City. She was a homemaker and worked and retired from the Day Care Center at the Bellaire Baptist Church. She was also a loving and faithful member of the Bellaire Baptist Church. She graduated from Atlanta High School in Winn Parish, Louisiana. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed their activities. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband Richard M. Shaw and her son Craig A. Shaw.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Wiley (Larry, deceased); Rudy Shaw (George); Eric Shaw (Cathy); daughter-in-law, Marcia Shaw; grand children, Cody(Jessica)& Will(Shelby) Shaw and Jeff Padgett(Courtney); great grand children, Ryder & Ridleigh Padgett, and Beau & Levi Shaw; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Honoring Martha as pallbearers will be Cody Shaw, Will Shaw, Phillip Walsworth, David Shaw, Hal Curley, Bobby Barnette, Russel Carriker, Rudy Shaw and Eric Shaw.
