Martha Rose Sapp

November 12, 1985 – August 11, 2025

Martha also known as "Marty," passed away suddenly at her home in Haughton, Louisiana, on August 11, 2025, at the age of 39.

Born on November 12, 1985, in Waycross, Georgia, but lived most of her life in Louisiana. Martha graduated from Airline High School. She was a dedicated retail merchandiser for Acosta.

Marty was a devoted and loving mother to her three children: Mason (17), Micah (13), and Maylin (12). Her children were the light of her life, and she raised them with strength, resilience, and boundless love as a single mom. Beautiful inside & out.

She is survived by her father, Kenneth Sapp Sr.; her mother, Carol Hood; four brothers; three sisters; and a large extended family. Known as "The Fun Aunt," Marty was adored by her many nieces and nephews, always bringing laughter and affection into their lives.

She was loyal, brave and never afraid to stand up for her family. Marty was the kind of person who made everyone feel at home. She liked tattoos, playing cards, and was a talented cook who could bring people together with a tasty meal. Many lives touched with her kindness and strength.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17th at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Hwy, Shreveport, Louisiana. A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by services to celebrate her life.
