Martha Nellwyn Raley gained her heavenly wings on March 31, 2019. She was born on July 17, 1939.

Martha devoted her life to God at a young age. She often spoke of walking the streets with Jesus and reacquainting with family and friends who are already there.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. She enjoyed her music, dancing, and maybe the casino with a margarita, once in a while. Her faith led her to collecting angels and watching her religious programs while talking on the phone with her sister about the second coming of Christ.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, and her son Michael Rapp.

Survivors are daughter Melissa Rapp Armstrong; sisters Shara Simmons, Billie Osborne (Roll); brother Donnie Raley; Grandchildren Jamey Rapp (Rachel), Krista Armstrong and fiancé Tony; Great Grandchildren Cadyn, Aryanna, Zakiah, Roxanne, Fiona;Angela Broadway, who she called her "adopted daughter", and many others who call her Mom, Granny, family, and friend.

Martha's family would like to express their thanks to Bossier City Fire Department, Bossier City Police, and Willis Knighton Pierremont ER Staff for their care and compassion. Also to Carl and Pam Mcbeath for being more than just a boss to Melissa and her family during this time.
