Martha was known for her outgoing personality and her giving nature. She touched everyone she met in a very personal way. She had a very full life. She traveled the United States via her and her husband's personal airplane, muscle cars and motorcycles, which she had her own as well. She loved adventure and embraced life in every way. She would take her granddaughter to Willy Nelson concerts, dance in the kitchen, garden, and cook the best fired chicken and coconut pies ever. She also enjoyed her "Natty Light" and long conversations. She always dressed to the nines even if she was checking the mail. She dedicated her life to her handicapped son William. They argued and carried on with each other but loved each other so much. William passed away last November. We take comfort knowing that they are back together along with her son Ray.

In the last three years she suffered from advanced dementia and her memory was fading fast. It was hard to watch such a vibrant women decline so quickly but we made every moment count. The last thing she said to me, her daughter was "I love you". I will carry that with me forever.

She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Special thanks to Kristi Foster, RN, Selina Brown NP and all the other nurses and CNA's that took care of her at The Guest House. Thanks to our church family at Cross Point Church for all the support and prayers.

And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7
