Marshall Thomas Foster Jr., 61 of Oil City, and previously Tensas Parish Louisiana, passed away March 17 2023. Visitation will be held at 10:30 – 12:00 on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 E Kings Hwy., Shreveport Louisiana.

Graveside service and burial will be held Thursday March 23, 2023 at 2 pm at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, Louisiana and will be officiated by Reverend Rickey A Jones and Don Thornton.

Thomas was born November 29, 1961 in Galliano, Louisiana, to Betty Joye and Marshal T Foster Sr. Thomas grew up in Tensas Parish and as an adult moved to Caddo Parish Louisiana.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom loved cooking and spending time with his family. He had a special love for his animals and  was known for rescuing a dog or two.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Betty Joye Foster. He is survived by his father Marshall Thomas Foster Sr and wife Mary, of Donna Texas,  his wife Cindy H. Foster of Shreveport Louisiana, his sister Theresa "Recci" Foster of Kingston, Oklahoma, and his brother Novy Glass of DeRidder, Louisiana. He has four children, Amanda "Mandy" Foster-Dubois (Dennis), Melysa "Missi" Foster-Crowson (Chris), Lacy Foster  Turner (Kyle) and Marshall Thomas Foster III (Stephanie) and two stepchildren Randy McBride and Amanda Kearns (Norman) all of Caddo and Bossier Parish, nephew Michael Myers and nieces Heather Myers Trice and Meredith Glass Lee. He has 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
