Mark Edward Mathews, 64, of Shreveport, La., passed away on July 5, 2021, at 11:17 a.m. of a lengthy illness.  His parents James and Betty Mathews having preceded him in death, he is survived by his brother Rev. Ron Mathews of Hartly,Texas, and Mr.

Richard Mathews and Mr. Michael Mathews and their sister Mrs. Leesa Burgess, all of Shreveport, La.

He had one brother-in-law, Dan Burgess, one sister-in-law, Vickie Mathews, an Aunt and Uncle, Kathleen Smith and Robert Spillers, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, most living in the Shreveport area.
