On Thursday, September 17, 2020, Marie Antionette Bittle Tucker, passed away at age 84. Marie was born on January 9, 1936 in Anniston, Alabama to James Guy and Nova Belle Bittle. Marie worked at Pioneer Bank and Trust for many years as a computer tech/data entry supervisor before opening Marie's Smokehouse, which she retired from.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Tucker, stepdaughter Teri Elaine Tucker, stepson Michael Lane Tucker. Marie is survived by her two sisters, Delores Kelley of Texarkana, Tx. and Rebecca Hale of Stockton, California , two half brothers, Michael and Charles Siragusa, and half-sister Kathy Siragusa, her four children, Ronald Tillman Byrd, Penny Lynn Byrd, and Susan Marie Byrd Horschman from her first marriage to John Thomas Byrd, Toni Marie Noyes Wright from her second marriage to Wayne Donald Noyes, her step daughter Susan Annette Tucker from her third marriage to Floyd A. Tucker, her ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and four great, great grandchildren.

Marie had many talents and enjoyed painting, sewing, cooking, and designing floral arrangements.  She also enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, gathering with friends and family, and was an avid gardener. She loved to laugh and would lend an ear for anyone who needed to talk. She loved helping anyone in need and she always made sure your belly was full.

A private memorial service will be held at an undisclosed date and time.
