A graveside service will be held to celebrate the life of Marie Loring at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Haughton Cemetery with Pastor Cleve Cyrus.

Marie entered the gates of Heaven on October 16, 2020. She was born on July 23, 1933 in Velma, Oklahoma. She was a lifelong resident of Haughton. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Great Aunt, and Great Great Aunt. She loved her family beyond measure. She loved cooking and baking for her family and catering to everyone's requests.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck Pruitt and Iva Denny Pruitt. Brothers, Richard Pruitt, Gene Pruitt, Bill Pruitt, and Edward Pruitt. Husband, Guy Loring. Daughter Donna Strickland Knotts. Great Grandson Sheldon Cruse.

Left to cherish her memory is her Son, Marty Strickland, Daughter Tammy Hollis and husband Jay, Sister Betty Turvey. Sister-in-law Mary Loring. Grandchildren Tina Bowden and husband Clint, Kristi Smith and husband Brian, Jason Hollis and Joe Hollis. Great Grandchildren Tyler Strickland, Matthew Higgins, Jaxon Smith, Ainsley Hollis and Kaylie Hollis. Great Great Granddaughter Wynter Welch. Nephew Marty Turvey and wife Carla. Great Nieces Shelly Langley and Allie Judd. Great great niece Skyla Judd. Numerous other family and dear friend Mary Gressette. The family will be forever grateful to her lifelong neighbor and best friend, Pauline McDonald.
