Marian Lockwood Marold Bennett Morgan of Coushatta, Louisiana was born March 29, 1924 to Charles and Annie Marold in Woodbridge, New Jersey and passed away peacefully on February 13, 2020, at the age of 95. Mrs. Morgan had been a resident of Green Meadow Haven Nursing Home for the past two years.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband, Ishmael Ed Morgan and Lonnie H. Bennett, the love of her life and the father to her five children, her parents, eleven brothers and sisters, sister- in- laws, brother-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by two daughters, Marlene Long and her husband Charles of Coushatta, Louisiana, Carol Cherry and her husband, Larry of May Texas; three sons, Lon Bennett of Beverly Hills, Florida, David Bennett and his wife Nita of Williamsburg, Virginia, Thomas Bennett and his wife Xiomara of Canton, Georgia; and one stepson, Forest Morgan and his wife Susan of Wexford, Pennsylvania. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins were all very special to her.

Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker who was the wife of a career Navy man and who endured the life of multiple moves while raising five children practically alone.

She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and will be remembered by her positive outlook and contagious laughter.

Aulds Funeral Home will be conducting the cremation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020, with visitation at 2:00 p.m. and services at 3:00 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church with Dr. Matt Endris and Bro. Buster Bailey officiating.
