Margaret Alice "Nana" Nobles, 92, a longtime resident of Goldonna, Louisiana passed away peacefully at home  Friday, July 22, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was born February 2, 1930, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Charles Benjamin Harrison and Alice Verna Hoover.

Margaret,  known by "Nana," by many, had a passion for cooking and loved spending time in the kitchen. Her home was always filled with the delicious aromas of her home cooked meals.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Nobles, Sr., her parents, and her grandson, Joseph Daniel Denham. She is survived by her three sons, Fred Denham, Jr. and wife Ivonne of Walker, LA; Charles Denham and wife Eva of Clarence, LA; John Nobles, Jr. and wife Debbie of Goldonna, LA; one daughter, Patricia Chavez and husband Adan of Jasper, TX; twelve grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Christian Harmony Baptist Church, 2019 Hwy 1226, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Burial will follow the service at Clear Lake Cemetery, Par Road #302. Goldonna, LA 71031. Officiating the service will be Brother David Matlock and Deacon Newberry at burial.
