Our dearly departed was born to Earnest and Ivery Lee Cash on September 19, 1953 in Gloster, LA. Margaret departed this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:40 p.m. at Willis-Knight Pierremont Hospital with her loving husband and family.

Margaret graduated from Second Ward High School in May 1972. Margaret confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. E. G. Hodge at Morning Star Baptist Church in Gloster, LA.

She was reunited in marriage to Mr. Nathaniel Fields on July 1981 in Gloster, LA.

Margaret: Parents, Brother, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles preceded her in death. Margaret leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband [Nathaniel]; 1 step daughter LaKeisha Brown, of Dallas, TX; 2 step grandchildren; 1 step-great grandson; 1 brother James of Newark, NJ; 2 sisters Linda, of Gloster, LA; Shella of Shreveport, LA; 1 special cousin Earnest Cash of Shreveport, LA; a host of loving Nieces (5), Nephews (4), Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Relatives and Friends.

We weep in a time of sorrow and despair through loss and pain, but do not let us forget the happiness, love, and joy we gain. We live in the flesh and blood but our soul never dies. God hold us dear to him because we are apart of his tribe. Our voice and souls carry the truth our forefathers and a love that never dies. We are his lost sheep and we have the last laugh… to know that we are cover by his blood and by birth right.
