Major John H Livesay, USAF Retired, 85, of Bossier City, LA passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 14, 2021.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon (Hobbs) Livesay of Bossier City, LA, his children, daughter Deborah Landry & son-in-law Kirt Landry of Cary, NC, daughter Michele Clark of Stafford, VA, and son Senior Chief Petty Officer David M. Livesay, USN Retired, of Newport, NC.  He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, Jacob Landry, Sgt. Kristofer Richardson USA, Zachary Landry & and his wife Le'Asia Landry, Katelynn Richardson, Hailey Odham, Jordan Livesay, Lily Livesay, and 2 great grandchildren Aschur Via, and Allistar Richardson.

John served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years and retired in 1979 at Barksdale AFB.  John held many positions in the Air Force, but he loved being a pilot the most.  He had a very distinguished career with many awards & accolades, was an educator to his family, and remained a very humble man.
