Lynda S. Madole passed away on September 8 after a lengthy illness. She was born to James Dudley Madole and Sarah Sue Averett Madole on July 6, 1945. Lynda spent most of her life in Shreveport and was a 1963 graduate of Byrd High School. While at Byrd she was a cheerleader, a Senior Class Favorite, and a member of the Homecoming Court. Later she attended Centenary College, Ole Miss and LSU.

Our sister was preceded in death by our parents, her brother Jimmy and his son, Matt.

She is survived by her brothers: Bill (Elizabeth), Rick (Martha) and Ronnie (Jill). Lynda is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Michelle Bison (David), Jennifer Brown (Tim), William (Leigh Ann), Craig (Sarah Jane), James Dustin (Julia), and eleven great nieces and nephews.

Lynda would want you to celebrate her life by remembering the good times with your friends and family. She was generous and kindhearted and until her illnesses she lived, laughed, and loved!

Our family is grateful to the staff of Heritage Manor South, Lifepath Hospice and Dr. Rajan Khanna for the compassionate care they provided to our sister. Also, Dr. Gary Booker (now deceased) for his years of care for Lynda.
