Luther Wayne Yarnell, age 78, was born on January 13, 1947 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Luther Van Yarnell and Velder Jackson Yarnell. He went home to the Lord on April 7, 2025 with his children by his side.

Wayne was a draftsman and retired from drafting while working for the city of Shreveport.

Wayne had many hobbies, but his favorite were fishing and building and flying model airplanes.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Paula Waynette Yarnell Winget and husband Greg and son David Wayne Yarnell and wife Amelia, grandchildren Brandon, Brooke, Brianne, Camille, Joseph, Alex and Audra and great grandchildren, Alex, Zoe, Bella Landen, Abby, Kena, Kadence, Kurt and Trent.

A private memorial will be held at Munnerlyn cemetery in Ida, Louisiana.

We love and will miss you Dad.
