Lucille Clements Keith passed away on February 13, 2022.  She was 88 years of age.

Mrs. Keith was born in Vivian, LA on October 20, 1933, to her parents, Bertha Humphries Clements and Frank Clements. She married Raymond Clark Keith in 1958. Together they had three children and were long-time members of the Hickory Grove Community.

Mrs. Keith was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Mrs. Keith was the eldest of five children, a sister to Christine Clements Adkinson, wife of the late Charles Adkinson; Billy Clements, husband of Lenora Clements; the late Frank "Sonny" Clements, husband of Carolyn Clements; and the late Wayne Clements.   She leaves behind her two children, Raymond Clark Keith, Jr., of Martin, LA, and Velma Ann Keith Brotherton, of Hickory Grove, LA, her daughter-in-law, Lorrie Ann Cason Keith, and son-in-law, Danny Lynn Brotherton, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Keith was a grandmother to four granddaughters, Stella Keith Midkiff and the late Jody Midkiff, Amanda Brotherton Todd and Matthew Todd, Allison Brotherton Hayes and Ty Hayes, and Adrianna Brotherton and Scott Settle. She was a great-grandmother and lovingly known as "Granny Ma" to Olivia Anne Todd, John Curtis Todd and Ty Wesley Hayes.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Frank; her husband, Raymond; her infant daughter, Christina Arlene; her brother, Wayne; and, her brother, Sonny.

A memorial service will take place on February 20, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, preceded by a visitation at 2:00 p.m.

Brother Olan McLaren will officiate the ceremony, and a eulogy will be given by Alvin Keith, brother-in-law of Mrs. Keith.  Mrs. Keith will be laid to rest in the Thomas Wren Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Martin John Carter, who cared for Mrs. Keith in her last days and was a source of communication and comfort to the family in this time.
