Mooringsport, LA- Services for Lorraine " Marie" Naugler, 56, will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA. The family will receive visitors from 12:00pm until service time. Raine was born in Tampa, FL on March 31, 1958. She began her new journey on Sunday, November 16, 2014. She was welcomed into the spirit world by both of her parents Jim and Emelia Barnwell. Raine was survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Jamie Naugler. Her five cherished children and her nine pride and joys that she referred to as her "grandbabies." Catherine and Chad Eusea, their three children David, Michael and Delissa. Lori and Sarah Doll-McNeill, their daughter Savannah. Tonette Leone and her five children Seth, Summer, Rance, Logan and Luke. Her only son Patrick Brown and I, her youngest, Rebecca Mc Neill. Not to mention the hundreds of others that called her " MOM." To have known her was to love her and be loved by her. Our mom practiced unconditional love and understanding with anyone that crossed her path, seeking friendship in everyone. The most important thing to our mother was family, being a part of all milestones reached by her children and grandchildren were one of her greatest joys in life. Our mom was her grandbabies #1 fan. She spent 10 years in Colorado before returning to Louisiana with her husband to open their business and embark on their successful 13 year career with Computer Troubleshooters. Mom was an avid Saints fan leaving her heart in "N'awlins" after spending time there with her grandparents as a child. She spent 20 years traveling the states in the Air Force with her first husband James Mc Neill. Her free time was spent reading, talking, and going to local festivals, listening to music, spending time with her husband and what she called her "fur-babies". Our Mom was impassioned about attending Thompson Valley High Schools games and cheering on all of her boys. Giving back to her community by volunteering and donating to numerous charities was also a priority. Our mother was an optimistic woman, her cup was always full and she made sure you felt your was too. She was a woman that marched to the beat of her own jazz band. We have all lost a Saint, Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. Rest in Paradise.
