Lonnie Alley, a retired security guard, went to his heavenly home on September 22, 2023. Lonnie was born May 9, 1956, in North Carolina. Lonnie lived his life in the service of others.  He spent much of his earlier years working in the tree services industry.  He was knowledgeable about trees and loved helping others when he noticed that they had dangerous trees that needed to be removed.  He also spent many years doing security work of which is where he retired from.  Lonnie lived by the beach for much of his life and he loved and missed Carolina Beach. Lonnie spent 38 years with the love of his life, Ginger and loved his family with all his heart.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, Shorty Alley, his mother Anne Alley, sister Mona Gail Alley, and brother Willie Alley.

Left to cherish his memory is his best friend and wife, Ginger Alley, his daughters Janel, Debbie and Katrina, his son Robert, his grandsons Joshua, Timothy, Davey, Matthew, and Vance and his granddaughters Rebecca and Elizabeth.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of those who supported us with prayers, as well as all phone calls and texts.  We would also like to thank the EMT's and Sheriff's department of Bossier City for their care and compassion during such a difficult time. It will never be forgotten.
