Lloyd Wayne Kennedy, Sr., age 49, passed away on February 12, 2021 at a local hospital. He was born on October 16, 1971 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Lloyd loved fishing, his dogs, and helping others in need. He was a painter, sandblaster, and mechanic by trade.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Leon Kennedy; brother Johnny Lee Kennedy, and grandmother Marie Cole.

He is survived by his mother Shirley Sirmons of Shreveport; son Lloyd Wayne Kennedy, Jr.; siblings Vickie Henderson and husband Donnie of Shreveport, Donna Hull and husband Lloyd of South Carolina, Robert Kennedy, Jr. and wife Patty of Blanchard, and Jessie Kennedy of Belcher; sister-in-law Janice Kennedy of Mooringsport; Aunt and Uncle Linda and Sammy Garza of Pflugerville, Texas. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11am -1pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Aulds Funeral Home with Sammy Garza officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2pm at Lakeview Cemetery in Oil City, Louisiana.
