LINDA MURPHY WEBSTER

DECEMBER 12, 1950 - JUNE 3, 2023

On June 3, 2023 at the age of 72, Linda Murphy Webster unexpectedly, left her earthly home to reside at her eternal residence in heaven with her Lord.

Linda was born in Houston, Texas December 12, 1950 in family with her sisters, Carolyn Council, Dora Sour, and Mary Ellis and her brothers, Robert and Scott Murphy, as well as other siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A move to Stonewall, Louisiana then Shreveport came about while Linda was young.

She married the love of her life, Donald Wayne Webster (Daddy & Tee) October 15, 1966, nearly 57 years ago. Linda is his best friend, whom loves him the "most more" and he loves her back, "most more". Linda left, only until they meet again.

"Momma" (Linda) leaves a legacy of faith, hope, and love in her three daughters, Ginger Davis, Virginia Calhoun, (husband Kevin) and Christine Archer. "Nonna" (Linda) also entrusts this continuation with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and all whom she led.

Linda will be missed as she has left her mark with many through teaching Sunday School, leadership with Girls in Action, the exhibition of Handy the Clown, variations of cooking, and on occasion, volunteering with the Red Cross, being a nanny, many displays of crafting (from sewing, doll-making, knitting, crocheting, and more), and other gifts of the kind.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Anne & Clinton Murphy, and her brother, Robert Murphy, as well as other relatives.

The family would like to recognize the first responders, the staff at Christus Highland Hospital and Hospice, various family, friends, and acquaintances for prompt service, prayers, kind words, donations, and care of us and our beloved. We merely and humbly, give our deepest thank you.

The memorial service will be Thursday, June 8 at 1:00 PM at Church at Red River (230 Flournoy Lucas Road in Shreveport, Louisiana, 71106) with reception to follow. Please join us, as we celebrate the life and love of Linda/Momma/Nonna.
