Linda R. Thornton, 65, of Minden, La. passed away on September 3, 2019.
Linda was born April 11, 1954 in Ringgold, La. She was preceded in death
by her Daddy, A. L. "Bay" Thornton and brother, Sam Thornton, both of
Ringgold, LA. Left to cherish her memory is her mother Corryce Thornton
of Ringgold; daughter Amy Stevens (Toby) of Minden; son Tommy Wood
(Amber) of Ringgold; sister Faye Yates of Shreveport; brother Bobby
Thornton (Cheryl) of St. Augustine, Fl.; sister-in-law Maria Thornton of
Ringgold; and friends Shirley Qualls of Hallsville, TX and Bill Roberts of
Shreveport, LA; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of
nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7th at Fryeburg
Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. Visitation will precede the service from 12:00
to 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Special
