Obituary

Linda Faye Davis Taylor was born on July 23rd, 1945 in Houston Texas. Linda was the daughter of Mittie Jones and Archie Davis. Linda entered into rest on May 26th, 2021 in Stanley Louisiana.

Linda enjoyed fishing, her favorite flower of all was roses, she was a lover of old country such as Conway Twitty and Dolly Parton. One of Linda's favorite things to do was have game night with her children and grandchildren when she could. Above all, Linda loved her family the most. Linda's granddaughter Hollie said "One memory that will forever live on in my heart is when I was a little girl and we would throw the football around in the front yard. Mawmaw definitely made her fair share of memories with all of us grandkids, and we will miss her dearly. Dementia truly is terrible, but she faught with all she had and that motivates and shows me how to be stronger each day. "

Linda married her late husband of 45 years, Chelton Dwain Taylor in the year of 1961. Linda and Dwain shared six children together, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Proceeding Linda in death are her parents Archie and Mittie, her husband Dwain. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Chelton Taylor Jr of Stanley, Patricia Monsour of Stanley, Matthew Taylor of Stanley, Bobby Taylor and wife Dede of Dayton, Brenda Blakney of Montgomery, Ronny Taylor and wife Susan of Logansport. Grandchildren; Amanda Monsour Stanley, Morgan Albritton, Brittany Taylor, Jennie Monsour Chreene, Ashley Broadus Stanton, Kori McClintock, Lori Broadus, Dalton Taylor, and Hollie Stone. Great grandchildren; Layla Feazel, Ava Feazel, Adleigh Albritton, Noah Chreene, Blaine Albritton, Braylon Broadus, Remington Ruiz, Bryce McClintock, and Colt Albritton, along with her only living sister Janice Davis Porter of Splendora.

Linda's dying wish was to be cremated, like her husband Dwain. Therefor, there will not be a funeral held for Linda.

Her daughter and care taker Patricia would like to give a huge thank you to superior hospice and their amazing team. Linda is in a much better place, and she has finally won her battle with Dementia.
