Linda Gale Graves Southern, 64, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 2, 2013. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Aulds Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA from 6-8 pm. A Service to celebrate her life will be Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Aulds Funeral Home at 11 am. Interment will follow at Old Saline Baptist Church Cemetery, 5280 Ridge Road, Castor, LA. Linda was born in Shreveport, LA to Olin B. and Betty L. Graves. She was married to her loving husband of 43 years, Daniel Maurice Southern. She was deeply devoted to her family, full of spirit, loving and never met a stranger. Linda is survived by her husband Daniel M. Southern, daughter Marla Southern Sharp and husband Jacob, son Daniel Lynn Southern and wife Dana and son Jason Douglas Southern. Eight grandchildren, Kristin Cumberland; Megan Southern; Daniel M. Southern, II; Randy Bryant; Andrew Harris; Cassie Harris; Carley Sharp; Macey Sharp and three great-grandsons. Siblings, Lee Graves; Diane Sims; Pricilla Silvertooth; Patricia Shelton; Becky King and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Serving as Pallbearers are Robert Lloyd Southern; Danny Southern; Jason Southern; Randy Bryant; Daniel M. Southern, II and Nick Ford.
