Linda Sue Moon, age 74, passed away in Longview, Texas on September 7, 2024. She was born on November 30, 1949, in Arcadia, Louisiana to William and Myrle Moon.

Linda had special needs and grew up in a group home facility. She loved to go out to eat, dance, and be with her Mom and brother. Linda loved going to church and singing. She was so sweet and happy, and loved doing things with her family. Her sister, Diane, made sure Linda was cared for and enjoyed her favorite things on their visits.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents William and Myrle Moon; siblings Eldrid, Randall, and Mary.

Left to cherish her memory are brother, Richard Moon; sister Diane Small; nieces and nephews, Vickie and Mike, Melody, Elizabeth, Randy, John, Larry, and Rebecca, Tammy, and Bub. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Linda Meshelle, Lisa Fondren, Bebo Tuttle, Carol Huddleston for the many drives, phone calls, and help taking care of Linda, and the group home facilities and hospice.

A visitation will be held at Aulds Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 11am-1pm. A graveside service will take place afterwards at 2pm in Gibsland, LA at the Mt Lebanon Cemetery with Delbert Terry officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Larry, John, Cotton, Jackson, Bruny, and Nathan.
