On April 9, 2026, Lila Sue Morgan Jobe of Shreveport, Louisiana, and formerly of Plain Dealing, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Lila was a unique blend of intelligence, beauty, and elegance. Born a farmer’s daughter in Plain Dealing, she carried within her a deep love for California, New York City and all things glamorous — a delightful combination that made her truly unique.
She spent many years as office manager of a credit union and found a natural outlet for her love of fashion and design as a model for Mr. Lynn’s Modeling Agency, a Dillard’s fragrance model and an independent decorator, shopping the Dallas wholesale market for decorative accessories sold through local interior designers.
Lila had a compassionate heart that expressed itself in years of community service. Especially near to her heart were victims of domestic violence, for which she was honored with an award for her outstanding contributions to the Family Violence Center by the Young Women's Christian Association. Her servant's spirit also led her to serve in many leadership roles including 1st and 2nd Vice President and Chairman of the Membership Tea with the Shreveport Little Theatre Guild — where she received the John Wray Young Award. She also served as Chairman of the Annual Fashion Show of the Shreveport Opera Guild; Chairman of Mothers Against Drugs Auction; Chairman of Las Vegas Night of the Betty Phillips Deaf Action Center; and on various committees with the United Way.
Lila is preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. Morgan and Carrie Malone Morgan, and her sister, Patsy Jenkins.
She is survived by many wonderful family members and friends, and will be especially missed by her two daughters, Carren Clark and Danna Jobe Graham, and her husband, Tracy Graham. Most of all, "Sassy" will be missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren who were the greatest joy of her heart.
The family would like to express our deepest appreciation for Debbie, Michelle and Renee who took such special care of Lila in her battle with COPD.
