Leon Boddie Paranuk, age 55 of Shreveport, LA passed away on Wednesday Feb. 22nd 2017, At Willis Knighton Pierremont, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Leon was born on January 24th 1962 to Mr. John Paranuk Jr. and Linda Mae Evans Paranuk.

He is survived by his brother John Paranuk III And his sister Lisa Renae Paranuk Overton. He is also survived by four sons, Brandon, Nicholas, and Zachary of Texas and Justin of California.

Leon attended high school in Doyline La. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Leon was self employed and chief of operations of his own business and had many loyal customers. Leon was a diligent and hard worker. Leon loved the outdoors and liked hunting and was an avid fisherman. Considered by friends to be a legendary angler.

There will be a graveside service held at Pease chapel cemetery in Haughton Louisiana on Thursday march 23rd 2017 at 11:00am.

Pastor William A. Stroud will officiate as Leon is laid to rest.
