Laverne J Tucker, 69 of Stonewall, Louisiana, passed away on February 25, 2025, at The Carpenter House under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice.

Laverne was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Arnold (Swede) and Shirley Johnson-Burge. She met her husband in southern Louisiana, and they eventually moved to Stonewall.

Laverne is survived by her mother, Shirley, sisters Lori and Dawn, sons Jeremy and Isaias (Ricky). She is a grandmother to 6 grandchildren, Angel, Emma, Kailey, J.J, Eliana, and Marley.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, and sister, Sharon.

Her wish was to be cremated.  No services will be held at this time.
