Lavelle Carroll, resident of Bossier City, Louisiana, age 84, passed away on September 5, 2017, surrounded by his family, after a lengthy illness with congestive health failure.  He was born on October 3, 1932 in Minden, Texas to Jimmy and Jewell Carroll.  He was retired from the United States Air Force.  He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War and spent tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Jewell Carroll.

He leaves his wife of 63 years, Joann Carroll, to cherish his memory, along with his son, Michael L Carroll, and his daughter, Julie Carroll Singels.
