Larry Dale Moses was born March 21, 1950, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Morris Henry Moses and Esther Thomas Moses. Larry resided in Shreveport and passed away on July 17, 2023, at his home.

Visitation will be held Sunday August 6th at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Hwy. in Shreveport. Visitation will be from 2-3:00 pm and a memorial service will be held 3-4:00 pm.  Officiating the service will be Pastor Mel Campbell and lifelong friend, Chris Jones.

Larry attended Fair Park High School. He was employed by L.E. Myers Co., as an electrical lineman and worked in Louisiana and Florida. He graduated from electrical school, as well as ABC Cosmetology School, and truck driving school. He was injured in a motorcycle accident at the age of twenty-six which left him disabled.

Larry was kind, compassionate, and would do anything to help you. He had a great laugh, and his favorite pastimes were attending parties with friends, listening to music, watching movies and fishing. Some of his most favorite memories were fishing with his dad when he was alive. Larry also loved his high school friends, and a few remained his lifelong friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Morris Henry Moses and Esther Thomas Moses and his beloved Labrador Retriever, Dillon.

Larry is survived by his brother Melvin Moses, and wife, Helen Moses, and sister, Debbie Moses Hynes and husband, Hunter Hynes, nieces Kimberly Moses Williams, Angela Moses, and nephews Joel Hynes and Garrett Hynes.
