Shreveport, LA. Mr. Steven "Kyle" Wright, 61, went home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2019. Services for Kyle will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday March 14, 2019 at Aulds Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. David Daniel, pastor of Celebration Church. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
Kyle was born at Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport, LA on September 17, 1957 to Ned Clark Wright and Elizabeth Machost Wright. Kyle was born with many challenges but he overcame by just being himself. Kyle liked different sounds, lights and clocks. There have been many times where his room looked like a clock shop. He liked different color lights and sounds. Sometimes Kyle would throw a can up in the air and it would hit the floor making a sound that had him laughing. Kyle was someone who would say hi and then show you his latest toy. If you met Kyle you did not forget him. Kyle like to travel across the country with our mom.
But now, Kyle has a new body with Jesus. No more being in the bed. No more trouble walking. No more effects from his stroke in 2010. Kyle is spending time with our mom, dad and Ashley in a body that works. Thank you Jesus.
Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, Elisabeth M Wright and Ned Clark Wright and his niece, Ashley Michelle Wright. He is survived by his brothers, Robert Harvey Wright and his wife, Lori and Charlie Wright and his wife, Lyn; his nieces and nephew, Karen E Murphy and her husband, Michael, Shelby L Wright and Matthew R. Wright
Pallbearers will be Dean Aiken, Scott Cunningham, Michael Murphy, Timothy White and Robert Wright.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Trinity Nursing, Supreme Nursing, St. Matthews, His caregivers, Richard, Steve, Tim, Julia, April, Brittany, Davolyn, Chez, Stan, Gary and so many others who have help take care of Kyle over the years.
John 14:1 (KJV)
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
