It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Kristena (Krissy) Gibson Ouzts-Wroblewski, 53, of Bossier City, Louisiana. Krissy went to be with our Lord Jesus on April 8th, 2023.
She is preceded to the next life by her mother Hilda Sue Gibson-Shaw, Father Vernon Shaw, cousin David Gibson, Aunt Mary Gibson, and Brother Stacy Shaw.
She is survived by her Spouse, Mike Wroblewski. Son Brent Ouzts, Daughter-in-law Meagan Ouzts, Grandson Bowen Ouzts. Sister Tracy Shaw. Nieces Meagan Best, Mindy Best, and Shianne. Nephews Christian and Seth.
From the very beginning of her life Krissy was all about family . Krissy was very much instrumental in helping her parents raise her twin siblings. Later in life Krissy would begin a career in cake decorating, fine-tuning her craft and eventually became a prized Wilton-Certifed decorator. After many years of decorating, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome would eventually sideline her decorating career to a hobby with friends and family. In August of 1997 Krissy would birth her only child, Brent M. Ouzts. Krissy then focused on being a wonderful Mother, devoted spouse to her husband Mike Wroblewski.
As Brent grew older one of Krissy's passions became being a youth volunteer, leader, and mentor. Krissy never missed a chance to teach, learn, or adventure. Krissy was a loyalist involved with local schools as a cub scout leader, 4-H leader, and active PTA member. Krissy was beloved by the children and young adults that she was able to connect with over the years.
Cooking was another one of her passions. No one ever walked away hungry from our home. She was known by many as "Mama Cupcake" as she would bake hundreds of cupcakes for the children at her son's schools. Krissy was simply a PEOPLE person! She didn't meet a stranger as anyone who has gotten to know her will tell you. Recently her joy overflowed with the birth of her new grandson Bowen Ouzts. Krissy would be know as LOLLIE. LOLLIE never missed a chance to spend time with and couldn't get enough of her little man,BO BO!
Visitation and memorial services will be Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4 to 6pm at AULDS funeral home, 7849 East Kings Hwy., Shreveport.
