Obituary

Kimberly Gayle Provost, 47, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on September 26, 2026.

Born March 9, 1979, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Kim leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will remain forever in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose smile, laughter, and presence will be cherished by her family and friends for years to come.

Throughout Kim’s life, she faced many illnesses and endured countless challenges, yet she continued to move forward with a strength that inspired those around her. Her journey was not always easy, but it never stopped her from demonstrating courage, perseverance, and resilience. Kim is now healed, whole, and at peace, free from the pain and struggles that diabetes brought at such a young age. Although her life here on earth has come to an end, her story continues through the love she shared and the memories she created.

Those left to cherish her are her loving father and mother, John and Maggie Provost; brother Brandon Provost, wife Lewynell, and niece Olivia; Uncle Glen & wife Patty Provost; cousins Dustin Provost and Morgan, and Austin Lamoureux; stepbrother Drew & wife Rachel Wales, nephew Harper, nieces Hallie and Hollyn Wales, Uncle Bruce Dominique and Uncle Jason Dominique, along with countless other cousins and friends.

Kim was preceded in death by their mother, Penny Marie Dominique Provost; Annie Jane Dominique; Betty Joan Provost Thomas; Louis Daniel “Dan” Thomas; and Aunt Pamela Lomastro.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Auld’s Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation: https://breakthrought1d.ca/
