After moving to Louisiana, Kiko was a librarian at Barksdale AFB Library and Shreve Memorial Library.  For the last 16 years, she lived in Goldsboro, North Carolina where she worked at Wayne Community College as an ESL instructor.  She was also very active in her church and often led the Japanese bible study.  After retiring, in March of 2019, she moved back to Shreveport.  Kiko was an incredible cook and always found unique ways to make everything she made taste special.  She loved gardening, flowers, crocheting, sewing, reading, learning new languages, and enjoying all things in nature.  She was an amazing mother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was always willing and ready to help anyone in need.
