A private celebration of life will be held at the Zittrauer residence with close family members to honor and cherish the memory of Kevin Jay Zittrauer.

Born on April 13, 1963, in Madrid, Spain, Kevin was a proud father, a driven entrepreneur, a friend to many, and a beloved son and brother.

Kevin was an ambitious man who began his professional career in the industrial hose business. In his early 20s, he founded Flow Products—his first successful venture—which later merged with Hose Specialty. He went on to spend the rest of his career in managerial, consulting, and sales roles in the oil industry.

Kevin had a deep love for knowledge and a natural curiosity — evidenced by his lifelong self-study in philosophy, history, and religion. He was an avid reader and could speak passionately about ancient civilizations, theology, and profound philosophical questions. He loved a good-spirited debate, a day at the frisbee golf course, and his collection of vinyl records.

Kevin is also remembered for his eclectic taste in music — a love for sound he passed on to his children. He enjoyed everything from Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin to Soundgarden and Radiohead.

If you asked Kevin what his proudest accomplishments were, he would say his children.

He is preceded in death by his father, Preston Zittrauer, and is survived by his mother Patsy, his brother Karl, and his two sons, Chase and Connor.

Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you honor Kevin's memory by reading a good book or spinning your favorite record.
