Obituary

Kerry Nathaniel Sullivan, 30, of Haughton, left this earth suddenly in an accident on March 31, 2020. A memorial service will be announced in the near future to celebrate his beautiful life.

Kerry was born on September 4, 1989 to Phyllis Mckinney Anderson & Kevin Sullivan. He attended Castor High School and soon after, he joined the Army National Guard. He served our great country for 6 years, finally separating in 2013. He was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom/ Operation New Dawn & deployed for the full year of 2010.  He belonged to 2/108 Cavalry Squadron out of Coushatta, La. He was a courageous Infantryman that received many awards and medals while deployed. Kerry was loyal to any job he took on. He wore many hats in his life, all of which he was one of the best at. Driving 18 wheelers was what he spent the last 6 years doing and loved it. Recently, his kids would ride with him while delivering frac sand and were able to make many priceless memories. His daughter, Presleigh especially loved time in "Daddy's big truck."

Kerry was such a family man. He and his wife, Megan Allen Sullivan, lived many years hand in hand raising their kids. Yours, Mine and Ours. Mikey, Presleigh & Jaxon. When life got tough with everyday stressors, no matter how things ended up turning out, they always relied on one another. Megan and Kerry had a bond like none other. Always held each other up through any storm. Helping make sure the kids were all always taken care of and loved. They will miss having their family element.

One person he loved with everything in him was his mama! He wouldn't want to admit it, but he was indeed a mama's boy! He loved nothing more than to aggravate her & get her going. She was his person and they were quite the duo. His mama will forever cherish the years she got to spend with him here on earth. She will love and cherish his children and forever wish he was here to watch them grow and

flourish, just as he did.

Kerry was a loyal friend and cherished many of his friends to no end. He loved to hang out and catch up. The memories he made with each of you are so precious. Hold on to them forever.

Kerry is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Faye White and paternal grandfather, Kenneth (Papa) Sullivan. Kerry is survived by his wife and friend, Megan Allen Sullivan; his son, Mikey Sullivan; daughter, Presleigh Allen; stepson, Jaxon Allen; his mother, Phyllis Anderson; Step Father, Gary Anderson, Father, Kevin Sullivan; step mother, Tonya Sullivan; brother, Robert Sullivan and wife Jessica Sullivan; grandfather, Quinton McKinney (Pawpaw Mac) as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He had very close friends that were like brothers. To name a few, CJ Wardlaw, Marshall Alford and Nick Bryant.  He loved and cherished the Kellogg family dearly. Brandy, Kenny Wayne, Dakota and Zachary, their roles in Mikey's life are so special. We couldn't go without mentioning his best friend, Elsa. She will miss playing fetch and hearing him come home.

In lieu of flowers, due to not having a service until a later date, if you feel led, please make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project in Kerry Sullivan's name.
