Kerry Jerome Johnson was born February 1, 1957 to the late Ashton and Louise Johnson in Shreveport, LA. Kerry married his lovely wife on February 1st, 1992. Preceding him in death are his parents Asthon and Louise Johnson, and his grandson LaMarion Lewis.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 31 years, Tessie D. Johnson; five children: Kerry (KJ) J. Murphy( Kenisha), Tabatah D. Washington(Adrian), Lareshia S. Pickett(Devin), Ashton L. Davenport, Isaac D. Johnson(Lynsey); one brother, Eric Johnson; 3 grandchildren: Krystal Johnson, Aidan Washington, & Makayla Russell. Two aunts Arlene Bryant and Katherine Anthony. One niece Porsha Coleman, one nephew Damian Coleman, and a host of cousins and friends.

Kerry was a devoted husband and father. He was a person who truly enjoyed extending hospitality, by cooking and entertaining family and friends playing his drums. He always had such a warm and generous spirit.

Kerry symbolized his dedication to Jehovah God, by getting baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on June 20,2009. His strong faith in Jehovah was shared with everyone he met. He enjoyed fishing for Fish, however, most of all Kerry enjoyed fishing for Men. And he remained faithful to the end.
