Kenneth Lee Updegrove, born April 15th, 1942 in Lewis, Kansas and passed away May 9th, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana, at the NWLA Veterans Home, at the age of 79.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Grant Updegrove, mother, Effie Rohar Updegrove, brother Roy Eugene Updegrove, sister-in-law Velda Erway Updegrove, and nephew Daryl Dean Updegrove

He is survived by his son Timothy Lee Updegrove and wife Moira, and daughter Melinda Jo Updegrove Garrett and husband Stephen.

Three grandchildren Anna Keith Courington, Nicholas Keith, and Kandice Updegrove.

One great-grandson Louie Courington.

Several Step-grandchildren that he welcomed and loved as his own.

Two brothers, William "Bill" Grant Updegrove Jr. and Lawrence "Larry" Updegrove. One sister Edith "Edie" Ann Updegrove VanDyke.

Eleven nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was a loving father and grandfather.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1965.

He was a master machinist and CNC Programmer until he retired in 2009. He was a skilled craftsman of wood and metal works.
