Shreveport,LA- Kenneth Lloyd Teddlie, age 76 passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Mr. Teddlie was born April 16, 1939 in Shreveport,LA. He was a life long resident of Shreveport.
He attended Fair Park High School. He retired from Industrial Sheet Metal in 2004 and was a member of Local 361. During his career he was a Foreman on numerous projects including the building of Southwood High School, Huntington High School, Schumpert Medical Center additions as well as Willis Knighton Medical Center projects. He could not walk into a building without saying, "I put the ductwork in this building". He was very proud of his craft and met many friends along the way. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and was a talented baseball pitcher in his youth. He was affectionately known as "Pappy".
Kenneth was preceded in death by mother Mamie Teddlie, Pearl Amons, brothers Roger Teddlie, Ardis(Ted) Teddlie, and Foster Teddlie.
He is survived by wife Cathy Teddlie, daughters Renee' Hardy and husband John of Phoenix,AZ; Cheryl Denise Johnson and husband Kenny of Shreveport,LA, Cliff and Mandy Sosbee of Princeton,LA, Clay Sosbee of Shreveport,LA, Quinn and Brandon Sumrall of Noblesville, IN, Caryn and Nathan Plunkett of Bossier City,LA; Grandchildren Aaron Johnson and wife Deana, Mallory Johnson and Murray Lewter, Collin Hardy, Tanner Johnson, Gage Sumrall, Cole Sumrall, and Daylynn Plunkett. Great-Grandchildren Urijah Lewter, Alexis Johnson, David Johnson, and Molly Johnson, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Larry and Linda Woodley, Don Carter and Betty Nash, David and Cathy Carter, Jerry and Jan Carter and Vicky and Mike Elliott.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 13th, 4pm-6pm at Aulds Funeral Home on E. Kings Highway. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 14th at 11am at Aulds Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Shreveport,LA. Officiating will be Bro. Harold Coburn and Bro. Chad Commander. Pallbearers include Aaron Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Collin Hardy, Murray Lewter, Cliff Sosbee, Clay Sosbee.
